1. Traditionally stannous sulphate is used as the main salt during electrolytic coloring process, especially when producing black color, but production cost is high due to multiple factors, such as stannous sulphate itself is high in price, high in unit consumption, and needs extra stabilizer to prevent it from oxidation and decomposition.

2. AD-C10 is an innovative electrolytic coloring additive that could replace the traditional stannous sulphate electrolytic coloring, it has the advantages of low chemical cost, low film thickness, and short coloring time.

Initial Bath Preparation:

Sulfuric Acid(reagent):16-18g/L

AD-C10:25-27g/L

Bath Concentration

Free Acid:18-24g/L

AD-C10: 25-27g/L

Bath Temperature:19-25℃

AC Voltage:13-17V

Processing Time(depending on film thickness, voltage,etc):6-11mins

1.Controlling parameters such as concentration, temperature and voltage should be fixed, so that it’s easier to control coloring time.

2.Concentration of AD-C10 and free acid should be analyzed daily, keep them within the right range and add chemicals in time. The consumption of AD-C10 is about 6-7kgs/T.

3.When the coloring time is too long, workpieces may get ashes on the surface, it’s recommended to return to coloring bath and dip for 0.5-1.5mins to remove the ashes.

4.Pay attention to the filtration during day-to-day production, recommend to clean bottom sediments at least once a year and examine the electrode conductive status.

25kg plastic bag; protected from light and alkali, keep sealed in a dry, cool place and prevent leakage.
